My name is Samantha Toll and I am a software developer based out of Washington State, with family inToronto, Canada. I graduated as a Computer Science major attending Gonzaga University with a minor in Management Information Systems and a concentration in Sociology. I love combining my love for technology with my passion for making a difference in the world.
I have worked on many diverse projects, and am well versed in multiple programming languages and platforms.
I was also a Division 1 Athlete at Gonzaga on the Women's Rowing Team, where I dedicated and effectively balanced 25+ hours a week of athletic activity alongside full time academic enrollment. Being an athlete has given me so much, including getting to be a part of something bigger than myself. It has taught me skills such as persistence, time management, leadership, self-discipline, communication, dedication, and teamwork.
I am now a weightlifter and love it. I am also a musician in my free time where I play the guitar, piano, sing (or try to), and write my own music. Music is my second universe where everything aligns. I also am an artist as drawing and painting became my unique way of expression. I run my own private business where I sell my artwork, but due to a highly demanding schedule it is more upon personal request.
My ultimate goal in life is to accomplish the impossible. I want to make a difference. No matter how small that difference is - I want to be a part of work that truly matters.
